German Ambassador to Ghana Pays Courtesy Call on Asantehene at Manhyia Palace


Today, His Excellency Frederik Landshoft, the German Ambassador to Ghana, paid a courtesy call on His Majesty Otumfuo Osei Tutu II, the Asantehene, at the Manhyia Palace in Kumasi.


The visit formed part of the ongoing diplomatic engagements and preparatory activities ahead of the anticipated state visit of the President of the Federal Republic of Germany to the Asante Kingdom in November.





Ambassador Landshoft’s visit underscores the enduring cordial relations between Germany and the Asante Kingdom—relations rooted in mutual respect, cultural exchange, and a shared commitment to sustainable development. 


The discussions at the Palace reflected both historical continuity and modern diplomacy, as Manhyia once again became the confluence of tradition and international cooperation.


Again, As part of his official visit to the historic Manhyia Palace, His Excellency Frederik Landshoft, the German Ambassador to Ghana, toured the illustrious Manhyia Palace Museum — a living archive of Asante royalty and heritage.
